Upon completion of an English language certificate program in the U.S., I immigrated to Canada in 2000.
I earned my Canadian secondary school diploma following graduation from City Adult Learning Center in Toronto in 2002.After getting a high school diploma, I studied Social Services Officer program at Centennial College. I also completed Core Interpretation Certificate Program at MCIS (Multilingual Community Interpreter Services) in 2005. I obtained my second college degree from Humber College where I completed the Immigration Consultant Diploma program with Honours.
Between 2005-2009, I worked as registered community interpreter for various government agencies including Immigration and Refugee Board (IRB), Traffic Courts, Toronto Police Services, detention centers, hospitals and social services offices in Toronto.
Since 2005, I have been a full member of Association of Translators and Interpreters of Ontario (ATIO) as a certified translator. My designation is recognized by almost all Canadian government offices. I can translate your documents from Turkish to English as a Certified Translator by ATIO.
Apart from translation services that I have provided, I have worked with many lawyers dealing with Canada immigration, family sponsorship and refugee claims.
When I completed the Immigration Consultant Diploma program successfully at Humber College, I registered at Canadian Society of Immigration Consultants (CSIC), the regulatory agency at the time for all immigration consultants in Canada. Following passing the entry examination at CSIC, I became a licensed Canadian immigration consultant.
At the end of one-year investigation and probe period, Bill C-35 was enacted by Canadian immigration minister Jason Kenney abolishing the CSIC’S regulatory agency status.
After an interim period, a new regulatory agency for Canadian immigration consultants, the Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council (ICCRC) was formed in 2011.
I registered with ICCRC in August 2011 as a RCIC (Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant).
Currently I provide my Canadian immigration services as RCIC in my Istanbul office. Apart from offering IELTS preparation lessons, I also continue to provide translation services as certified translator.
For the last three years I also provide IELTS preparation courses for students who want to score better at IELTS exams.
In summary, I provide Canada immigration services as RCIC, translation services as certified translator (ATIO) and provide overseas education services to students who want to study in Canada.
